Newcomer fills out the cast in Strangers  July 16, 2009
Los Angeles, CA -- After an exhaustive process that saw 122 young actors passed over for the part, Scraping Bottom Productions made the surprise announcement today that newcomer Wyatt Mitchell has been cast in the role of the Son in the upcoming film, Strangers. Wyatt, an experienced stage actor with half a dozen shows under his belt, will be making his first screen appearance in Strangers. The script, which had been re-written for an older son and younger father, tells the story of a family struggling to reconnect after a terrible tragedy. Although new to film, Wyatt’s screen test showed that the transition from stage to screen will be smooth. “Finding Wyatt was a very happy coincidence,” a relieved producer M.J. Johnson said, “We are thrilled to have such a great cast finally in-place for this project.” Principal photography for Strangers is scheduled for August. Away we go!
