Home school Musical was filmed in San Luis Obispo, CA in June, 2011. Casting began in Los Angeles in June of 2010, but the production was postponed in August of that year. Casting was completed in March, 2011 with a talented group of young actors from San Luis Obispo County joining the already-signed cast from L.A. Rehearsals were held in Nipomo, Ventura, and Hollywood in May and June, 2011. This film represents the largest and most complex in Scraping Bottom Productions' eight year history.
